DHS Complies with Court of Appeals Order Regarding Designation of TPS Afghanistan

On May 13, 2025, DHS terminated the designation of Afghanistan for Temporary Protected Status (TPS).  EADs with a November 20, 2023, or May 20, 2025, Card Expires date under the TPS designation of Afghanistan were extended through July 14, 2025.  On July 14, 2025, a court of appeals issued an administrative stay on the termination of TPS for Afghans until July 21, 2025. This means that TPS continues and A12 and C19 EADs with a November 20, 2023, or May 20, 2025, Card Expires date are valid through July 21, 2025.
