Sometimes, businesses or contractors want to see a handwritten signature on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) instead of a digital signature. Is this possible?

E-Verify will not allow for a handwritten or “wet” signature on an MOU. Employers may always print out a copy of the MOU they signed which has a digital DHS signature. However, if businesses or contractors ask for additional proof of a company's enrollment, there are two options:

  • Program administrators and corporate administrators can print a copy of their company information page.
  • E-Verify participants can use the E-Verify search tool to find information about all employers with five or more employees who participate in E-Verify.
