When Should Federal Contractors Use E-Verify+ vs. E-Verify to Create a Case?

If you are a federal contractor with the Federal Acquisition Regulation E-Verify clause, here's how to determine which option to use when creating a new case:

  • Use either E-Verify+ or E-Verify if the new or existing employee needs to complete a new Form I-9.
  • Use E-Verify if the employee is not completing a new Form I-9, or you’ve updated their original Form I-9 for a current employee assigned to a covered contract.

When you go to Create a New Case, a drop-down menu will provide guidance to help you select the appropriate option based on your specific scenario.
