Not always. A key feature of NextGen is to allow employees to save their information in their myE-Verify account to be used for future employers. Once they receive their unique reference code from a new employer, the employee can simply update their information if necessary and complete the NextGen process with their new employer.
If the employee receives a mismatch result, the system will notify the employee of the result directly and provide detailed instructions on the next steps. Once the case result is final (employee’s Mismatch is resolved as Employment Authorized or as a Final Nonconfirmation), the system will notify both the employer and employee of the case result. This process may change as NextGen in further developed.
