Only Employer Access (web browser user) accounts with an active program administrator can use E-Verify+. Additional account types will be able to enable E-Verify+ in the future. Other restrictions may apply.
The Enrollment Process
When you enroll your company, you need to share some basic information and agree to follow the rules of E-Verify. You will enroll your company just once and, after you do, you can register yourself and others to use E-Verify. See the Enrollment Process – Overview below along with the explanation of each step in the process.
Using an E-Verify Employer Agent
E-Verify employer agents use E-Verify to confirm the employment eligibility of the employees of other employers or participants. E-Verify employer agents frequently offer E-Verify along with other services, such as background checks, legal assistance and accounting services.
Enrollment Checklist
Deciding to enroll your company in E-Verify is the first step toward supporting a legal workforce. Visit the E-Verify Enrollment website at e-verify.gov/enrolling-in-e-verify to get started. E-Verify will guide you through the enrollment process by asking you several questions.
System Requirements
E-Verify is an Internet-based service with very simple system requirements. Employers who use E-Verify need:
Web Services
The E-Verify Web services access method allows an employer to connect with E Verify by using customized software in addition to connecting with E-Verify by Web browser.
Some employers prefer to use software that customizes their interface with E-Verify. This access method provides the structure for development or procurement of software that integrates with existing business processes and tools.
